Sue is British and grew up in the UK. She studied Psychology at Trinity College, Cambridge. Her particular interest lies with people, their collective and individual experience of brands, and the broader role of brands in society.
Sue started her career in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi, London as an Account Planner in 1988, working on the British Airways and London Philharmonic accounts. Over the next seven years in London, Sue worked on a number of accounts including Schweppes, Lanson Champagne, Courvoisier and Vodafone.
Sue moved to Germany in 1996 where she worked as International Planning Director on P&G’s Pampers and Oil of Olay brands, based at Saatchi & Saatchi Frankfurt. In 1998, Sue took on the challenge of building up a Strategic Planning department at Saatchi Frankfurt. During her years there, Sue was responsible for overseeing Planning on all the Agency’s major accounts including Audi, Ariel and Commerzbank as well as training and coaching the Planning department.
Sue has worked as a Freelance Strategic Planner since 2003, with such clients and partners as IKEA, Headmint , Red Spider, Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis.
